Last chance to register for semester 1 2011 at UG

Prospective students of the University of Guyana, especially those awaiting examination results, now have a final chance of applying for programmes which are not oversubscribed.

In a news release, the Assistant Registrar of the university noted that the system was closed on May 29, but a decision was taken to reopen after there was a deluge on enquiries about late applications.

This extension of the deadline started on Monday, July 11 and ends at midnight today, Sunday, July 17.

In a news release, the Assistant Registrar of the university stated that all new applicants would be required to pay a mandatory late fee.

Persons who applied before May 29, but did not have their documents verified at this time, are also required to pay the late registration fee.

Anyone requiring further information regarding late applications can do so by accessing the university’s website on www.uog.edu.gy.
