The police say they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Ramjit Dindial, 35 years, of Lusignan North, ECD, who died at the GPHC, today.
Investigations have so far revealed that at about 2200h yesterday, Ramjit Dindial was walking along the roadway at Lusignan when he was allegedly struck behind his head by man. He was taken to the GPHC where he later died, police said.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
Dindial’s body is at the Lyken’s Funeral Parlour awaiting a PME.
