The police say they are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at about 1215h. today at Garnett Street, Kitty, during which Glenford Primo, 46 years, was attacked and robbed by a man who was armed with a gun.
Investigations revealed that Primo was in his tyre shop when he was confronted by the armed man who made efforts to take away his gold chain. Primo resisted and was shot to his left thigh by the perpetrator who then grabbed the chain and escaped on a motor cycle ridden by an accomplice, police said.
