A man, identified only as “Emanuel” was allegedly shot and killed and another man shot and injured by a businessman, following an argument this morning at Powis Backdam, Five Star, North West District.
Police said they are conducting investigations into the incident, which allegedly occurred at the businessman’s shop. “Investigations so far reveal that the two men went to the businessman’s shop where they requested goods on credit. The businessman refused and an argument ensued during which it is alleged that the businessman pulled out a fireman and shot the men,” police said in a statement. “The suspect fled the scene and has not yet been arrested.”
“Emanuel” succumbed to his injuries, police reported, while adding that efforts are being made to get unidentified injured man to the Port Kaituma Hospital.
