A man is in police custody after he was reportedly found with one kilogramme of marijuana at Mabura on Monday.
Police said in a press release that around 9:30am, ranks of a mobile police patrol stopped and searched the man, who was walking along the road at Mabura. A kilogramme of suspected cannabis sativa (marijuana) was found in a haversack that he was carrying at the time, police said, while adding that charges will be laid shortly.
