The police say they are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 2230h. last night on the Planters Hall Public Road, Mahaicony, ECD, and which resulted in the death of Deodat Singh, 44 years of Happy Acres, ECD.
Police say that investigations revealed that Singh was driving motor vehicle GJJ 4811, allegedly at a fast rate, when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a utility pole and some concrete piles. He suffered injuries and was taken to the GPHC where he was pronounced DOA.
