4.6 quake shakes Trinidad

(Trinidad Express) Trinidad and Tobago experienced an earthquake yesterday that measured 4.6 on the Richter scale.

The event occurred yesterday at 8.52 a.m., north of the Paria Peninsula, and happened at a depth of 69 kilometres below the sea.

According to the University of the West Indies (UWI) Seismic Research Centre’s website, people felt the earthquake in the north and central areas of Trinidad.

No damage or injuries were reported.
