This donkey has been suffering from an infected leg

This donkey has been suffering from an infected leg and back as a result of mistreatment since mid-July of this year, and can be seen along the East Coast roadway, in the vicinity of Felicity. Syeada Manbodh, along with other Good Samaritans like herself has been tending to its needs, bringing feed and medication for it. Manbodh in a letter to the editor of this newspaper dated September 28, 2011 had stated that she had made contact with the GSPCA in July concerning the animal, and they had promised to look into it, but up to today nothing has been done by them to rescue the animal. According to Manbodh, some time last week he was seen in the middle of the afternoon traffic attempting to cross the road on its weak and wobbly legs. (Photo by Syeada Manbodh)
