The Guyana Power and Light Inc. (GPL) is encouraging its prepaid customers to purchase an adequate amount of electricity tokens/cards to ensure a supply of electricity throughout the Christmas and Boxing Day holidays.
The GPL, in a press release, said most of its prepaid agents will be closed for business. It added that ‘prepaid cards’ will be available in denominations of $500, $1,000, $5,000 and $10,000.
These cards can be purchased from any of GPL’s commercial offices during normal business hours, the release concluded.
