Dear Editor,
The National Insurance Scheme (NIS) pensioners are eagerly awaiting the decision of the Board of Directors pertaining to a satisfactory percentage increase on their minuscule pensions.
Inflation and the high cost of living have taken their ruthless toll on the amount pensioners are currently receiving, but it is hoped that an increase of 20% would just be adequate and acceptable to combat the voracious phantoms of inflation and the high cost of living.
