I attended the ‘Link-Show’ over the weekend; it was superb and while maintaining a strong topical content, it was truly entertaining. Laughter is indeed a good medicine, a medicine we all need.
Mr Ron Robinson and his team deserve our highest commendation. It is the kind of show every citizen irrespective of beliefs should take the opportunity to see. Further, we need in Guyana the maintenance of high level theatre, which was evident in the preparation of the ‘Link-Show.’
My own hope is that the government will reintroduce national honours, and the ‘Link-Show’ certainly will qualify for one of our highest awards.
