Four observations

Dear Editor,

I refer to the long letter from Gail Teixeira in the SN of October 27, titled ‘There is a rich history of religious leaders’ involvement in the struggle for democracy…‘

I have four observations:

1. I did not know that diatribe could be piled that high.

2. Of all the examples she gave of religious leaders supporting political causes, none related to the former supposedly impartial Chairman of an Ethnic Relations Commission.

3. Not one of them would dare tell the public that were Jesus Christ to return he would vote for the party which he was supporting.

4. That is called blasphemy and should be condemned by all.

Yours faithfully,
Tony Vieira
