Dear Editor,
Why do they continue to have the airport in the most inaccessible area for the country? It initially was an airfield specially positioned away from the population, and due to lack of imagination the authorities continue to spend resources on this location.
It would be best if it were situated somewhere between GT and Rosignol on higher land (to avoid flooding) so that the bulk of the population could have easy access to it and not have to make a major trip to get there.
A new modern airport without the restrictions of CJIA would show the world that there is progress and the ability to think outside the box, and it would be convenient for more people.
