Some of the biggest names in Hollywood and pro football will clash Saturday on DIRECTV’s Celebrity Beach Bowl match.
Now in its fifth season, the DIRECTV Celebrity Beach Bowl has grown to become one of the three National Football League (NFL) “anchor events” during the Super Bowl week. Millions of viewers will tune in to watch the biggest names in Hollywood and pro football clash in a head-to-head football matchup in the sand on live TV.
This year’s event takes place at Victory Park, Dallas, Texas and is expected to be bigger and better than last year’s event.
Last year’s celebrity cast included reality TV stars the Kardashian sisters Kim and Chloe, along with Brody Jenner, Brian McKnight, Miami Dolphin Cheerleaders, Victoria Secret Angels and swimsuit models.
Former and current pro footballers playing included quarterback Rich Gannon, Desmond Howard and other players from Denver Broncos and Jets.
The event was cheered by Dan Patrick, Kevin Frazier and Eli Manning.
Saturday’s Beach Bowl schedule starts off with a Pre-game show at 3:30 PM where the players from both sides will be introduced and interviewed on DIRECTV’s Blue Carpet.
The Beach Bowl action kicks off at 4:30PM, followed by a trophy presentation.
Last year Swimsuit Model, Marisa Miller, copped the fourth season’s MVP Trophy. Immediately after the trophy presentation at 5:30PM, Grammy Award-winning band Maroon 5 will take the stage for the post-game concert.
The Annual DIRECTV Celebrity Beach Bowl event will be shown live on CH. 201/999 from 3:30PM Saturday.
