Patterson heads GDA

David Patterson was Thursday night elected president of the Georgetown Dominoes Association when that body held its Annual General Meeting at the New Spot Seven building, East La Penitence.

Patterson replaced Robert Williams who did not seek re-election. Williams had been president of the GDA for the past three years.

Those returning to their respective positions were vice president Orin Joseph, secretary Kenrick Fraser, treasurer, Ronald Beharry, Public Relations Officer Basil Bradshaw and organizing secretary William Sargeant.

There is a new senior organizing secretary in Mark Wiltshire with Alexis George also serving as an organizing secretary.

The committee members are Roderick Harry, Delon Garraway, Emily Dodson and Orin Favourite. According to a press release  the first meeting of the new executive will take place on Thursday.
