The diminutive Bagot and lanky David were the perfect foil for their opponents, mixing powerful spikes and rock solid defence to wear down some of their more experienced and recognized competitors.

The duo did not let up in any of their games which were played in extremely humid conditions and witnessed by hundreds of local and foreign spectators.

Bagot and David won the final 2 sets to one.

Earlier in the day they stunned tournament favourites Javed Jhingree and Quacy Matheson, national under-19 players in the semi-finals with a stunning display of defence and attack, the kind only witnessed in Pro-Beach Volleyball on the International Circuit, the release noted.
