Floodlight to play in USA this weekend

The Guyana Floodlight Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA) will be sending a team –Floodlight –  to New York to take part in the Independence/Legend Cup softball tournament next weekend.
The games will be played in Queens and Brooklyn on July first, second and third.

The matches will be hosted by the New York Softball Cricket League (NYSCL).
Teams from many parts of North America, along with Floodlight, will vie for supremacy.
The GFSCA earlier this year, sent two teams to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to participate in the Florida Cup Masters tournament with Floodlight A  emerging runners up of  the tournament.

The players selected to play in New York are: Ishwar Persaud, Dharam Persaud, Richard Persaud, Hardat Singh, Armogan Gopaul, Ganesh Singh, Derick Ramoutar, Petamber Maharaj, Ricky Deonarain, Rahaman Khan, Mike Singh, Ray Amnay and  Unos Baksh.
