All roads will lead to Police Consumers tomorrow

-Summer Slam dominoes tourney gets underway at 2.30pm

Tomorrow, the road for all dominoes lovers will lead to the Police Consumers Co-op on Robb Street for the staging of the Police Sports Club (PSC) Summer Slam dominoes extravaganza.

Some 18 teams will contest the knockout dominoes competition which has at stake a first prize of $100, 000 and a trophy.

The runners-up will receive $60,000 and a trophy with the third place team set to receive $30,000 and a trophy.

Additionally, organizer Mark `Jumbie’ Wiltshire told Stabroek Sport yesterday that there will also be a feature match among West Side, Snake and Wild Bunch.

This will be a winner take all contest with the winning team receiving $90,000.

Teams entering prior to tomorrow will pay an entrance fee of $10,000 while those teams that opt to pay on the day in question will have to pay $11,000, Wiltshire stated.

Most of the top dominoes teams in the country are expected to take part in the tournament along with teams from the Guyana Police Force and Stabroek News.

Double six time is 2.30pm.
