Golfers in battle for Seven Seas/Nature Valley title

The battle for supremacy in the Seven Seas/Nature Valley Medal Play Golf tournament will take place today at the Lusignan Golf Course. The cream-de-cream on the local golf scene will looking to stake a claim of the top prize in the tournament sponsored by Geddes Grant local distributors of Seven Seas multi vitamins and Nature Valley granola snack bars.

The line up should include last weekend tournament winner Robert Hanoman, Hilbert Shields, Fazil Haniff,  Rawle Moore, Andre Cummings, Jerome Khan, Ronald Bulkan,  George Bulkan, Bhowlaram Deo, Carlos Adams, Dr. Ram Singh, Patrick Prashad, Esau Shamshudin, Christine Sukhram, Joaan Deo, William Walker, Maurice Solomon, Mike Gayadin, Munaff Arjune, Muntaz Haniff, Chatterpaul Deo, John Tracey, Troy Cadogan, Avinda Kishore, Mike Mangal,  Colin Ming, Brian Hackett and Mark Lashley.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three players with the best net scores. There will also be prizes for Nearest to the Pin and Best gross. Players are requested to register with the Club by 16:00 hours on Friday.

Karen Connell Product  Specialist  is expected to present the prizes to the outstanding players on behalf of  the sponsors Geddes Grant Ltd.

Tee off is at 12:30 hours.
Meanwhile, Robert Hanoman shot a net 63 to emerged winner of last Saturday’s Club tournament.
Second place went to Fazil Haniff who edged out Hilbert Shields on a countback for second place after both players ended on net scores of 64.
