Windies to open Test series in Delhi

MUMBAI, India, IANS-CMC – Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla will host the first of three Tests between India and the West Indies, when the Caribbean side arrives here next month.

The match will run from November 6, with the two other Tests taking place in Kolkata from November 14-18 and in Mumbai from November 22-26.

India are also to play five One-Day Internationals against the West Indies, but the Indian Cricket Board said it would announce that itinerary later.

The series against the West Indies begins a week after England’s tour of India, which starts here Friday and includes five ODIs and one Twenty20.

West Indies are currently in Bangladesh for one T20I, three ODIs and two Tests.
Earlier this year, India beat West Indies 3-2 in a five-match ODI series and also won the three-Test series 1-0.
