Police say that at 0630h today the body of Richard Harvey Smith called “Maga”, 38 years, of Da Silva Street, Newtown, Kitty was found at Devonshire Castle Foreshore, Essequibo Coast. The body is at the Suddie Hospital Mortuary awaiting a PME.
Smith and several others were in a boat that had set off on Saturday from Georgetown for the Essequibo Coast to aid hijacked fishermen. The boat capsized off Suddie in rough waters.
Yesterday, the body of Kumar Narine was found. Two others are missing and one person survived.
