(Jamaica Observer) Sixty women, believed to be prostitutes, were among 180 persons who were taken into custody by members of a joint police/military team at Port Henderson Road in Portmore, St Catherine this morning.
Two 9mm semi-automatic pistols were also seized in the incident.
Cops drawn from several police formations in the Corporate Area and St Catherine, along with members of the Jamaica Defence Force, swooped down on the area known as ‘Back Road’ during the operation.
