(WICB) As a result of the situation in Guyana there has been speculation regarding the Barbados v Guyana Regional 4 Day match scheduled to start on Friday March 9th at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.
The WICB confirms the following:
1 . The match will proceed as scheduled
2. The Guyana squad will travel to Barbados tomorrow Wednesday, March 7th 2012
3. The Guyana squad which has been participating in the Regional 4 Day Tournament will continue to do so save for one change as noted below.

*Devendra Bishoo who was previously in the Guyana squad has been selected to the West Indies squad for the first three Digicel One Day Internationals v Australia and is encamped with the West Indies squad in preparation for the Digicel Series. Chanderpaul, having been originally named in the Guyana squad at the start of the Regional 4 Day Tournament, but who missed the first four rounds of matches to play in the Bangladesh Premier League has replaced Bishoo.
