Linden deal signed

The agreement between the government and the Region Ten delegation regarding the Linden situation was earlier this evening signed after the contentious clause in the Terms of Reference for the Commission of Inquiry was dealt with earlier in the day.

This clause deals with investigating the organization and mobilization of the protest which both the Region and the Alliance For Change have repeatedly charged is irrelevant.

Reporters following the signing were told that the contentious clause was removed and an agreement was reached on all the other parts of the TOR.

Prime Minister Samuel Hinds signed the four-page agreement on behalf of the government and Regional Chairman Sharma Solomon for Region Ten.
