Two Agricola youths die after Providence accident

The police say they are conducting investigations into a fatal accident that occurred at about 2340h last night  on the Providence Public Road, EBD, and which resulted in the deaths of driver Christopher Chung, 19 years, of  Cato Street, Agricola and passenger Kerwin Andrews, 16 years of Brutus Street, Agricola and injuries to passengers Stephen Fraser, 19 years, of Cato Street, Agricola and Martilda Gittens, 18 years, of Mocha, EBD.

Investigations so far, police said, have revealed that Andrews, Fraser and Gittens were passengers in motor car PHH 7934 which was proceeding north along the western carriageway of the road at a fast rate when the driver lost control and crashed into the concrete median of the road.

The driver and passengers suffered injuries and were taken to the GPHC, where Andrews was pronounced DOA, while Chung succumbed to his injuries about 0330h today, and Fraser and  Gittens were admitted patients.
