Delta to assist stranded EZjet passengers – Ali

Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, Irfaan Ali, yesterday met with Delta Airlines’ officials to discuss ways to address the present situation which has left thousands of EZJet passengers stranded and to deal with the busy year- end period.

The Government Information Agency said today that Richard Pyle, the Regional District Sales Manager, and Junior Horatio, Sales Manager of the airline committed to assist and endorsed Minister Ali’s plan to work on joint ventures.

GINA said that the officials pledged that their fare will remain the same. Their cheapest one way fare is US$360 inclusive of taxes, and the airline will increase capacity, with daily flights from New York during the period December 15, 2012 to January 9, 2013.
