The police say they are probing the shooting of Eon Ambrose, of 91 Sideline Dam, La Penitence which occurred at about 0045h today by a man armed with a handgun.
Investigations, police said, have revealed that Ambrose was walking east along Middle Road and Hunter Street, Albouystown, when the suspect rode up on a bicycle and discharged a round in his direction hitting him to his left leg.
Ambrose was taken to the GPHC for medical attention.
Investigations are continuing.
