The police are investigating a shooting which occurred at about 2025h yesterday. Dale Cameron, of 130 Belle West, Canal No. 2, WBD was shot by a female armed with a handgun.
Police say that investigations have revealed that Cameron was driving motor car HB 71, on New Road, Vreed-en-Hoop, with a female passenger, whom he picked up at Plantain Walk, WBD, to be taken to Crane, WCD.
As he approached Crane he heard an explosion and felt an impact behind his head causing him to lose control, of the vehicle and ending up in a trench.
He was taken to the WDRH and referred to the GPHC where he was admitted, police said.
Investigations are continuing.
