Seawall clean up: Youths for Guyana launched a “Clean up your act. Restoring Guyana’s Garden City” campaign yesterday. Many youths braved the rains for the project held on the seawall from behind the Pegasus to Camp Street. President Lisa McLean told Stabroek News that the group was formed in December last as a movement to promote unity among Guyana’s diverse cultures. She said the campaign is being undertaken in phases and yesterday the first phase was conducted. As members of the group were cleaning up, members of the Golden Jaguars who were exercising along the seawall and other persons who were passing joined in.
