Magistrate charged over breathalyzer test

Magistrate Haymant Ramdhani was yesterday charged with failing to submit to a breathalyzer test and was placed on self-bail after appearing before the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court.

The charge stemmed from a collision which occurred at Victoria Village, East Coast Demerara, when Victor Adams was injured after Ramdhani slammed into a parked car about two weeks ago.

Ramdhani pleaded not guilty to the charge which stated that he failed to submit to a breathalyzer test.
