Thirteen-year-old Dexter Marshall of Two Friends, Anns Grove was this morning reportedly electrocuted while riding on a Merry Go Round at a Fair in the village which he left to go to without his mother’s knowledge.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The police in a statement this afternoon said that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Marshall.
The police said that initial investigations revealed that at about 0030h. today Marshall was at a birthday party at Two Friends Village when he began to feel unwell and was taken to the GPHC where he subsequently died.
The police are awaiting the results of the PME.
