Police find 83 cell phones in two raids

The police said that on Wednesday they conducted searches on two buildings at Charlotte Street and Norton Street, Georgetown during which they found phones and other items.

The police said that during the search 83 cell phones, 21 wrist-watches, 60 cell phone chargers, 30 cell phones ear-pieces, 1 digital camera, 3 MP3 players and 1 lap top computer along with a number of various computer accessories and other electrical equipment that are suspected to be stolen or unlawfully obtained, were found.

Two men have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
