Condition of burnt woman improving

Rohanie Ramsood, the Cane Grove, Mahaica resident who set herself on fire two days ago is said to be improving at the Georgetown Hospital, her relatives said yesterday.

Ramsood, who is 40 years old, allegedly set herself on fire after an argument with her husband.  According to reports, she was in the upper flat of her home when her husband noticed smoke emanating from that section of their home.

Her husband then ran upstairs and discovered his wife engulfed in flames and immediately threw several buckets of water on her as she cried out for assistance. He immediately rushed the woman to the Georgetown Hospital where she is currently being treated for her injuries.
