Licence of Friendship Squatting Area man suspended

Police say that Fazal Mohamed of Second Street, Friendship Squatting Area, East Bank Demerara has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and as a result his licence has been suspended.

A police release yesterday said that following investigations into an accident that occurred on August 19, 2012 at Land of Canaan Public Road, East Coast Demerara, and which resulted in the death of passenger Rafeek Mohamed of Friendship, East Bank Demerara, Fazal Mohamed was charged.  The licence has been suspended pending the outcome of the matter.
