Cops on the hook for delaying PM report on Enmore fisherman

The family of Enmore North fisherman Lakeram ‘Narro’ Parsram, who was found dumped in a drain almost a week ago, is upset with the police after being told that they were the reason that the post-mortem report on his death was incomplete.

Parsram, 29, of Sheriga, Enmore North, East Coast Demerara, was found on November 21, fitted in a drain aback of a mechanic shop, a short distance away from his home. There was a laceration to his head. However, his family was unable to acquire the results of an autopsy performed on his body yesterday as government pathologist Dr Nehaul Singh said that the police had not provided him with the necessary information he needed to complete his report.

Stabroek News yesterday spoke with the dead man’s mother, Chandrwattie Singh, who explained that the police did supply not the doctor with
