Man stabbed to death at Coomacka

A man died after being stabbed in the chest at Coomacka Mines, Upper Demerara River late Friday night.
Dead is Deon Peters who was 24-years-old.

In a statement, the police said that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding Peters’s death.

The police said he was found with stab wounds to his chest on the roadway at Coomacka Mines, Upper Demerara River, at about 10 pm on Friday.

He was taken to the Mackenzie Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
