Dear Editor,
In your edition of January 6, Mr Roshan Khan complained about a truck causing hardship in his area over the last few weeks (‘Lorry parked in Light Street offensive to residents’).
In some ways I think that Mr Khan is very lucky, as I have been trying unsuccessfully for over ten years to beseech the inactive city council to remove an illegal bush truck business next to my property.
I keep hoping that the new local government minister will use his office to put some semblance of order in the city.
