In your Sunday editorial of January 22, 2012, you mentioned that if national and regional elections were to be called, “Gecom simply could not manage it.”
Please be advised that the Guyana Elections Commis-sion would be quite capable of managing elections – general and regional or local government – this year, following the requisite legal diktats, and the provision of the required financial resources of course.
