Closing date in Teaching Service Commission ad was an error

Dear Editor,

We wish to thank Mr George N Cave, Former Commissioner, Teaching Service Commission, for pointing out the error regarding the closing date for original application forms to reach the Ministry of Education.  The closing date is Friday, March 23, 2012 and not March 9, 2012 as indicated in the advertisement for vacancies in the Sunday Stabroek, January 29, 2012.
The Chief Education Officer and other relevant functionaries, eg, Regional Education Officers, etc, have been notified.
