Dear Editor,
I am a retired Corporal of Police. I collect my pension every month at the Other Ranks canteen, and it is very disgusting to know that every month they come late to pay us at 16:30hrs and sometimes 17:00hrs.
The thing that bothers me is that they already know the date on which they have to pay the pension. So I am asking if the Minister of Home Affairs or the Commissioner of Police could do something about this late payment to ex-policemen and women who have given the Guyana Police Force twenty-five and thirty-five years of service.
