The lanes on the road from the Harbour Bridge to Vieira’s turn should be demarcated

Dear Editor,
The growing number of road fatalities should be of concern not only to road users but to all who care about life.

I am appealing to the Traffic Department for the demarcation of the two-lane roadway from the Harbour Bridge to Vieira’s turn. It should not be costly, especially if you contrast it with the possible implications of accidents resulting in death, injuries, damage to property, etc, and one would expect it to be part of the usual maintenance.
There is daily chaos on that road as users grapple to find their invisible lanes, not forgetting that the Minibuses have added a third inner one.

The Traffic Department should please remedy this situation, and to all road users, let the three C’s – courtesy, common sense and consideration – be our constant guide.
Yours faithfully,
