Why did NCN take Indian programmes off the air?

Dear Editor,
My household consists of seven persons, all of whom are regular listeners to NCN radio, especially VOG and Radio Roraima (RR), and now 100.1 Fresh FM.

Over the last year or so we were treated with some of the best in songs and music through the programmes Chutney Beat, Filmi Duniya and Gems of India.

At the beginning of November these three programmes were taken off the air. I wonder why?

Suffice it to say that the presenter of these programmes has a very good command of the appropriate language – he knows his stuff.

We (and presumably others) would like to know why the programmes were taken off the air. Can NCN justify this move?
Yours faithfully,
Karim Yusuf
