‘Jaggy’ Persaud stages birthday dominoes tournament today

Michael `Jaggy’ Persaud, vice president of the Georgetown Dominoes Association will stage a lucrative one-day knockout dominoes tournament in honour of his birthday today at the Dynasty Sports Club and Bar.

The tournament, which is being run by organising secretary Mark `Jumbie’ Wiltshire will see the winning team taking home a whopping $100,000 as the first prize.

A number of teams have been invited to participate in the tournament including Mix Up, T & T, Rage, Red, R & R, Wild Bunch, Impressors, Strikers, C-7, B-6, Turning Point, and Fire.

Entrance fee is $3000 per team.

According to Wiltshire, no team will be allowed to enter the tournament after 2pm.
