The 25th edition of the Guyana Boxing Board of Control (GBBC) Fight Night Pro Am card became official yesterday with the professional boxers affixing their signatures to their respective contracts at the Abdool and Abdool Building.

The event which will box off at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on July 27 will be headlined by local featherweight champion Clive ‘Wonder Kid’ Atwell and the national lightweight champion Revlon Lake.

Atwell and Lake will match gloves in a junior lightweight (130 pounds) eight-round affair.
Lake who is based in Barbados will sign his contract when he arrives in Guyana later this month.
The undercard will feature Pocket Rocket Boxing Gym products, bantamweight Richard Williamson and lightweight Kishan Simon, making their professional debut.

Williamson, who had an outstanding amateur career which includes winning a silver medal at the Ronald Wilson Memorial Tournament last year in Trinidad, will match gloves with another debutant Dilan Allicock while Simon will take on journeyman Patrick Boston in a catch-weight fight. Both of those bouts are scheduled for four rounds.
