Local junior star riders Raynauth Jeffrey and Paul DeNobrega recently returned from Anguilla and Antigua where they both enjoyed success.
Raynauth and De Nobrega are attached to the Miami-based cycle club Team CoCo’s.
In Anguilla, DeNobrega won the 13th annual John T Memorial junior 65-mile event while Jeffrey placed second.
In Antigua one day later, Jeffrey, 18, sped off with the 48-mile event winner’s overall trophy while DeNobrega who won the junior trophy placed fifth overall.
Both received cash prizes and trophies for their overwhelming efforts.
The duo will now take their talents to the Dominica Republic to take part in the Caribbean Junior Championships next month end.
