Dr. Anthony, Ezekiel Jackson have wide ranging talks

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar  Rycklon Stephens also known as Ezekiel Jackson yesterday met with Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Dr. Frank Anthony and Permanent Secretary Alfred King over lunch to discuss a wide range of issues.

The discussion took place  at Cara Lodge  and also in attendance were Jackson’ s  wife Jennifer Stephens and Promoter Carwyn Holland and his wife.

The wrestler and the minister discussed a wide range of issues including the value of education for sportsmen in Guyana. Stephens also expressed his willingness to do whatever he can to promote Guyana on the world stage.
According the wrestler, a popular and internationally known athlete and entertainer, he was very pleased with developments in Guyana but said  there is still a far way to go for Guyana to go be par with the developed countries in the field of sports.
Minister Anthony was high in praise of the Linden born WWE star and extended an invitation for future collaboration between his ministry and the wrestler.

The gathering was later joined by Georgetown Mayor Hamilton Green who said he was very excited to meet with the man from Victory Valley.

Mayor Greene also presented Jackson with a gift.
