Ravendra Persaud hit a century while Zulfikar Ali hit an unbeaten 94 as Young Guns defeated East Bankers by 134 runs when the Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Associa-tion competition continued last Sunday.
Batting first Young Guns racked up 255-2 off 15 overs with Persaud 119 and Ali 94 not out the principal scorers.
Persaud’s innings included 14 sixes and six fours while Ali slammed 12 sixes and five fours.
East Bankers in reply scored 121-9 off 15 overs with Suresh Ramdin top scoring with 31 while R. Bacchus grabbed a hat trick for Young Guns ending with 3-26.
