The law firm of Forde, Amsterdam and Lewis along with Body Central Boutique are the latest sponsors to support the Banks Beer end-of-year knock out competition.
Attorney-at-Law Roysdale Forde handed over the donation on behalf of the Forde, Amsterdam and Lewis law firm while Trichcia Richards of Body Central Boutique handed over the cheque to Charles Greaves, President of Houston Stars recently.
Presnet also were GFA Secretary Sharmain Wade and Treasurer Dexter Schultz. Clubs confirmed to date are: Houston Stars, GFC, Riddim Squad, GDF, GPF, Fruta Conquerors, Camptown, Banks All Stars, Georgetown Masters, Nothern Rangers, Black Pearl, Flamingo, Beacon, Santos, University of Guyana and Charlestown United. The tournament according to GFA officials carries prize monies in excess of $9 million with the winner pocketing the championship trophy and cash prize of $4 million. The runners up is expected to receive $2.5 million with $1.5 million and $1 million respectively for the third and fourth
place.
