Manchester Secondary School student Denzil Leitch won the first monthly Digicel sponsored Diwali Day five kilometres road race for school students of the Lower Corentyne.
The race was organized by the Rose Hall Town Day Anniversary and Development Organisation on Tuesday.
Leitch led the field of 17 other athletes from start to finish. The race started off at a fast pace from the starting line at UG’s Tain Campus to the end at the Rose Hall Arch. At about the halfway mark,
