Choral winners: The winning choirs in the National Choral Festival received their trophies yesterday at the Umana Yana. They were also handed a certificate and a book entitled `One Hundred Folk Songs of Guyana’. The New Amsterdam Secondary School Choir placed first in the large group category while the Messengers took the first prize in the small group category.
